Enjoy a Wabi Sabi/Japandi/Zen experience at this centrally-located Lakewood place. Just a block or two from dining, this two bedroom unit will be the perfect spot to unwind and relax after taking I what Cleveland area has to offer - whether the Rock n’Roll scene or a work trip. Enjoy nearby cafés, restaurants, and night life on either Madison Ave or Detroit Ave or just sit back and enjoy a moment of respite, whether through yoga, meditation, reading, or enjoying a cup of tea.

Good to know

This is a first floor unit in a two level duplex with your own private entrance, with the whole unit on the same floor except for the washer dryer (one floor down in the basement) There are two bedrooms in the unit, and a full bath with both shower and tub. We have a full kitchen for all your cooking needs and provide all the basics for cooking, dining, hosting, and baking. Adjacent and central to all rooms is the dining room. Our living room is great for relaxing, watching tv, remote work, just doing some yoga (we have two yoga mats) or playing some chess. The front porch with a conversation patio set is accessible from the living room, and is also a great space to relax.

House Rules

CHECK-IN IS AT 3, CHECKOUT IS AT 10AM SHARP, ADDITIONAL HOURS PAST CHECK-OUT WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION WILL BE CHARGED AT $50/HOUR. Please message us if this you'd like an earlier or later check-out so we can try to accommodate. This is not guaranteed, especially if we have a same day guest checking in or out. Parties are NOT allowed- the upstairs unit is also an Airbnb, so please be considerate of your fellow guests. There are noise city ordinances between 10pm and 7am on weekday, and 10pm and 9am on weekends. Any fees incurred by the host will be charged to the guests. Any damage to property, decor, or furniture will be charged at the full value of the item, repair, or replacement, plus repair, cleaning, and repair fees. We do not accept extra guests. The house can only accommodate 4, and there are only two beds. There are cameras at all entries, so we will know if any extra guests stayed the night, and we will charge extra fees. DO NOT MOVE HOUSE FURNITURE; FURNITURE FOUND OUT OF PLACE MAY RESULT IN ADDITIONAL CLEANING FEES; WE TAKE PHOTOGRAPHS BEFORE AND AFTER ALL STAYS. We will turn on the AC remotely through the NEST thermostat before your arrival to ensure it is comfortably cool or warm, depending on the season. If you're unfamiliar with a Nest, there are YouTube videos to help, or you can reach out to us.

Neighborhood

The best of both worlds- quiet neighborhood between two great spots for food an shopping. A 5-7 minute walk to multiple coffee shops and Detroit Ave to the north, another 5 minute walk to Madison Ave restaurants to the south. Centrally located near Cleveland downtown and a 10 minute drive from the airport. 5 Min walk from Cleveland Clinic-Lakewood.

Guest Access

Guests have private access to the whole first floor unit, including porch. Basement is shared laundry with the top Airbnb, but the washer/dryer are not shared. Hallway stairs to basement are shared. Main entry is private.

Find us

There are lots of restaurants and things to do within walking distance, but feel free to park behind the house if you’re driving. There are plenty of rideshare apps available in the area so hailing a driver is not an issue. This is a very bike-friendly town too.
